I'm looking foward to seeing what this class will bring to me to help me with my english class next year and when i retake my SAT's. I want to be able to write more and write my ideas more clearly. I am hopeing this class will help me with all my writing skills.
I am also looking foward to the rest of my summer. On August first my grounding will be over, and i will be able to see my boyfriend again.
I like to "big sister"(babysit) sidney and carl they aBbbre a good couple of kids.
I like to hang out with my family. We had a party saturday night to celebrate fathers day. I gave all the fathers (my brother, my brother-in-law, cousin, and uncle) shot glasses from schlitterbahn with their names on it.
I am looking foward to the school year, being a senior (with all of the activites there are, senior bash, running for homecoming and prom queen, senior class picture and last but not least graduation.
Name game) Kayanna Natalia
Her family didnt just choose her name, her mom and dad were arguing over the order of her name. Her dad wanted her to be be Natalia Kayanna. Her mom wanted her to be Kayanna Natalia. Well of course the mom won and she became Kayanna Natalia.
She likes her name but people have trouble pronouncing it.
Her name does not mean anything, her parents just made it up (comma splice)
Her last name is her dad's name from jamaica.
The brain
Our brains are like big circuits, they never stop working. It takes every part of our brain to do daily things. The people in neuroscience have not found a way to help kids with learning disabilites. You can compare the inside of a car to a brain. The brain isn't always a complicated sometimes it is very simple. Too brief
My neighboorhood
In my neighboorhood we have many problems with homeless people and offenders. We try to ignore the everyday weird-o's. There are always people speeding down our street. We have a guy we call Danny boy because when he is drunk he acts like a lttle kid. There are no sidewalks in some areas. There are stray animals everywhere.
We have cats that live under our house. Almost all of our neighboors have loud parties, and they have dogs that bark all night.
When my neighboors finally sleep i go out and play my tuba until they come out and yell at me, then i just play louder. Our house is always shifting, so the doors never close. Being the only white family in a mexican neighboorhood, you get strange looks when you try to speak spanish or play mexican music.

I had no electricity in my house last night so I had to do the wiki on my phone. I am having a lot more fun in this class than I thought I would. I didn't think I would be able to write as much as I did.
Yesterday after the second session let out I walked over to the HQ police department ( where my mom works). Before I went over there though, I went to bill millers to get a tea. When my grandma come to pick us up we went to drop off our stuff at our house and found out we didn't have any electricty. We went to a different bill millers for dinner because the edison band boosters were having a meeting. I got to see my band director (because he actually showed up to the meeting). We talked about how much money was going to be spent during the upcoming year for band, how we were going to fundraise so we could spend that money. And my band director and I were talking about band camp!
If I would move away
I think I would be lost for sometime. I would miss all my friends and family, mostly my close family, like my mom, grandma, and my brother, I don't think I would miss my nieces and nephews. I would miss my boyfriend a lot. If I got to choose where I could go, I would choose to go b,ack new york. I love being able to get lost some where and spend all day looking for a way home, because like my grandma always tells my cousin (who is 3 weeks younger than me) "if you get lost enough you will start to reconize things and places so, you will eventually find you way. I think that if I was to go back I would take a bike so I wouldn't have to walk everywhere.

When i left campus yesterday and started walking to the police department one of my friends was driving by and honked at me. When i got to the police department i had to go in the back door (fire exit) because there was a camera crew in the lobby because of some prisoners trial. I was really happy when they left because while they were there I had to sit in my mom's boss's office and it was kinda awkward. By the time i got to leave his office my mom was already out of work and waiting for me in the lobby. I am going to wait outside from now on, but not today, i am getting picked up and going to babysit. I am going to try and do my wiki there since i still have no electicity at my house. My thumbs had started hurting, so i didn't get to do all of it. when i got home yesterday the electrican was doing the beginning of his work. there were wires everywhere. I cant wait for him to be done.
Drawing
Draw a circle about a third of an inch in diameter. From the bottom of the circle draw a straight line down about an inch long. At the bottom of that line draw two lines going diagonally down in opposite directions. Then go to the middle of your first line and draw two lines going diagonally up about half an inch in opposite directions. Lastly draw a triangle starting at the bottom of your circle the base of the triangle should be at the bottom of your first line.

Yesterday we finally got electircity back in our house, but when I got home it was eleven o'clock so I didn't get to finish my wiki. I was babysitting last night, we made paper mache cast's on their legs. I had told them to not to move while I went upstairs to try to clean myself up. when i came back downstairs i went to see if their cast's were dry yet. Lets just say they weren't. They had their casts off and torn and on the floor. So I calmly told them to go sit around the corner and wait for me to tell them to come back in. I swept the newspaper into a pile and told them to come back in, i told Sidney to get the recycle bins and put the paper up. Then i told Alana to get the sponges, we were going to scrub the floor, counter tops, table top; and try to get their bodies cleaned off before Sidney's mom and dad got home. I can't wait for after today's session because Sidney's mom, Diane, is taking me to cafe college!
My Favorite Person
My favorite person is Diane Hileman. I have known Diane for a couple of years now. I met her though Girl Scouts; we were at training together. We started talking about service unit activities. Diane and my mom were talking about teen representative and how I would benefit from the position. I didn't know what that meant, but if Diane wanted me to do it, I was going to do it. I followed Diane everywhere; she is my role model. Since the day I met her I wanted to do everything with her. She has helped me with different opportunties in Girl Scouts such as getting on the Girl Scouts Board of Directors. Se is also my Gold Award mentor. She has helped me overcome my fears about speaking in front of large crowds.
To help me get on the Board of Directors. She helped me fill out the application. She gave me a pre-interview, interview. She was/is my moral support.
As my Gold Award mentor, Diane is there when I want to take about the issue for my project. She has helped me figure out who to ask for donations, and what to do for posters and other materials. It is very encourging to me the way Diane gives me confidence to speak in front of a crowd. She would help me write a speech and then gradually help me with going from a small group( like a service unit meeting) to a large group(like my church).
She is like a second mother to me; she spoils me. She listens to my problems. She knows how to get out of any bad situation. She does a lot of volunteer work with Girl Scouts. Anybody would be lucky have Diane as a mentor or friend!
Story of Stuff
I think the story of stuff was very informative about what happens to the electronics we throw away. I never knew how many chemicals went into the stuff we use in everyday life. It was kinda scary to see that. The way that we dispose of electonics is wasteful.
